I'd say Kelsey Grammer is a good candidate for a funny right winger.

Though I'd say he's the exception. People who call themselves right have to start from the dark place of explaining why it's necessary to do ugly things to certain people. If that's also the basis of your comedy, it's inherently creepy. I'd wager that there are lots of fantastic right leaning comedians; they just don't make politics the focus of their comedy.

Any yet you still pull three of them out in a two line post.

    That's mad, Ted.

Perhaps that was his plan all along?

    Lefties have great imagination.

Mostly imagining other people's money in their bank accounts.

I could tell you to "shut that door,' or suggest "you are awful but I like you." Just because catchphrases are memorable doesn't make them any less idiotic.

Yeah, Grammar might be the only one due to Fraiser but not the likes of his comedy movies which are mostly garbage.

He is a decent dramatic actor in the right role as well.

    interesting article

Is the snowflake generation really about to kill off comedy?

Political correctness is forcing more comics to delicately tip-toe around issues of race, class and sexuality. But is self-censoring and avoiding offensive topics the answer to keeping a career in laughs?

Kinison spent most of his career making fun of Right-wing evangelical types - it was a huge part of his act as he was an ex-reverend who became an atheist.

Left-wing or Liberal comedians, at least the good ones, tend to be equal opportunity offenders.
