Given that we were told on this site that the lovely Mr. Assad was killed by his long suffering bodyguards a while ago, I looked for a link -

    https://www.theguardian.com/stage/20...n-dies-aged-51

Very sad to see him go!

    Razer sharp too.

I wonder if lack of confidence or unhappiness or something?
    The drink.

He'd been hosting these 1 off panel games for RTÉ radio.

Terrible shame, not tat he'd have said it, but he was way more funnier & talented than alot of comedians, or panel game contestants.

Bigtime---for some reason, he didn't maintain that initial rock star status-sensed he was too intelligent for comedy

When I was a teen this guy was just the coolest guy around. Funny in a really casual way that seemed like he wasn't even trying. Was really comfortable working without a script and just relying on his wit. I often wondered why his career stalled and then seemed to fizzle out. Reading between the lines it seems the drink got him, such a terrible shame.

if true, its another reason we all need to talk about booze. Sean had a beautiful mind, tragically snatched away from us before his time.

    A really funny guy.

I though he should have been on TV a lot more.

Maybe there was illness we had not heard about.
