We should burn down the churchs, mosques and temples.

Why do people feel the need to worship something that they are a part of? to me It doesn't make sense. We do not have a need to worship something we are a part of, that is the deception, part of the grand illusion and to even suggest such a thing is heresy. The Vatican used to kill people for saying less. I find it interesting that the only life form on earth that worships deities is also the most destructive to the planet. You would think if a people are close to God they would not engage in such destructive behavior and live in harmony with Nature. Nature is God and God is Nature, right?Could it be that animals know more about being one with God then humans do? I believe the evidence proves it. Household pets for example, do not judge people by the way they behave, look or walk. Unlike humans, pets offer unconditional love because their minds have not been confused by distraction and corrupted information. From that it can be safely concluded that Religion is nothing more then a sub-part of a control system designed to keep us from the truth. We have been convinced we needed deities as a go between. All that did was put up a barrier to keep us from the truth. Religion was never about worshiping God, religion has always been about control.

What is it with the plethora of stupid threads being started on this site recently?

This is a religious issue not a political one.

Why burn them? They'd make lovely apartment blocks.

Religion and Politics go hand in hand, especially in this country

I'd prefer to let them rot slowly from under-use

Go shove your rolly eye emoticons.

Is there a proposal by anybody in government to burn churches and mosques?
Have there been any recent attempts to remove them from the state?
    It's not a political issue, infact it's not even a religious issue it's a non-issue and a pointless thread.
