    Cork v Kerry

Awesome display by Kerry today. Can't see the Cork lads being able to compete with that type of power. Another All Ireland in the bag for the Kingdom??

They're inclined to lose their way for lengthy periods during games which might give Cork hope. But, when they're in full flight, they're a sight to behold !

Well, they only won by 2 points today and they only beat Monaghan by 1 point. So, they're hardly invincible. Having said that, they'll probably beat Cork. The only teams able to beat Kerry since 2001 have been Northern teams.

The difference between the teams, is that Kerry have forwards that can, and will score. Cork simply don't. If Kerry show up at all, they will win. Not by a huge score because Cork's defence is good, but it's about points on the board.

I said it the week before the Monaghan match, when they were 11/10. They were as good a way of doubling your money you were likely to see.

A triple bet with cumulative odds of 11/10 is seriously poor value

I know you are from Tipp so you are excused for not knowing much about football, but that is simply bollox. While that myth has been perpetuated this year, Cork shattered it the last day against Meath. If Masters is back, let's not forget he is the championship's top scorer (or was up to today, I think he still is) Now I do agree that Kerry should beat Cork, but let's drop the BS that Cork's forwards can't score.

Who will be sent off first. Paul galivin or Noel O'Leary?

Kerry should do it. They could never let it be said in kerry that they lost to Cork in Croke Park in an All Ireland final
Cowardice asks the question - is it safe? Expediency asks the question - is it politic?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular? But Conscience asks the question - is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular;but one must take it simply because it is right. -MLK

Its a lot better than the odds on you'll be offered against Cork in a few weeks .

I understand your point, and for a while against Monaghan I'd have been sweating, but I think ring rustiness was their problem then. Dublin, for all their good year this year still incomprehensibly fall asleep for large portions of games, just as they did today at the start of the second half, so Kerry were a good bet to beat them.

And for all DOD's blinkered attitude against me talking down Cork.. the reality is, that Meath were a poor team that got a few lucky results against other poor teams, and were shown up for what they were by a half decent Cork team in the semi final. Cork in the quarters were a brutal team, simply brutal. Kerry will tear them up on the big field that is Croke Park.
