I wonder if these Nigerians ever did get those passports:

Thousands of Nigerians have had their applications for Irish passports returned

There's Irish people who have been living in the UK for over 50 years who have never become British citizens so why have those who have just arrived here being given Irish citizenship its complete madness.

    1. The Ireland Act 1949
    2. Those granted Irish citizenship have not "just arrived", they have been here for at least 5 years

FG are a party of the wealthy, the only thing that inspires them is increasing the wealth of those who are better off. All other issues can ebb and flow and be controlled by quangos and lobbyists and media voices. If abortion is what the lobbyists want abortion it is. If mass immigration until as a country we resemble Louisiana then mass immigration it is, if the Fourth Wave feminist agenda is crying out then feed it. Everything is Laissez Faire until the wealth of the wealthy is at risk then it's handout time and protectionism. The nation doesn't exist as such - as Thatcher herself put it. Varadkar is an enthusiastic Thatcherite.
