    It must be said, the Brits have made a great job of this. The 'main' Olympics (for want of a better word) is an easy sell. This is a different story, and still they sell out. Kudos to them!

    Caught it too. It really was a unnecessary question. The likely answer is that he always felt more Irish than British, but being on Channel 4 he obviously had to give a cautious answer.

    He`s a clever lad. Just said that he wasn`t political, and that Ireland offered to look after him while the British showed no interest.

    More medal prospects in the swimming later on this evening. James Scully and Darragh McDonald both qualified for the Mens 100m Freestyle S5 and S6 finals respectively.
