Nothing. Didn't try to bite me, didn't try to eat me. Actually didn't do anything besides sit there bookishly.

On this basis I can readily say that it is not books that are dangerous, it is human stupidity.

A thread about how dangerous books can be is rather ridiculous - the title should be changed to 'Books that I, the OP, find to be dangerous'.

I bet you didn't do that at night.

All three of the abrahamic books were political. Sure Jesus was the original socialist and a book that tells a people they are the chosen ones, nothing much more political than that.

Muslims should take the legitimate criticisms of the The Satanic Verses on board. To my mind, the Koran is plagiarised waffle and don't get me started on The Hadith.

Bloody Nazi books.....cant trust them. In the end I used it to line the dogs bed due to an aversion to burning books of any kind.

The Bible is a different book to the Koran. Its therefore a different issue. Wafa Sultan was making a comparision that Mein Kampf and the Koran are full of calls to violence and of rampant anti semitism etc, etc.

Well what about the anti-Jewish passages in the New Testament, mainly in the Gospels which have been referenced for two millenia as an excuse for the persecution of Jews and may even be partially responsible for facilitating the Nazi Holocaust, remember Hitler was a devout Catholic.

When did Hitler last go to Church? Make confession? Did he do novenas? What was he doing living with Eva Braun - were they living as a celibate couple?
    Please advise.

Could you list out a few of those anti-Jewish passages? I've read the Bible a fair few times and didn't find it anti-Jewish.

The only thing "anti-" it contains is anti-paedophile, tying stones about necks and casting into the sea being mentioned in that case.

God is pretty much Anti-Semitic in the Bible by killing and abusing Jews.
He also orders them to kill anyone and everyone and leave nothing behind not even livestock burn everything to the ground.
