Been there (Drimoleague), even on a semi-fine day you can see the tumble weed.

Exactly. I think I'll nip over to Iran and rob some nuclear technology. For power generation of course. If I happen to make a terrible mistake and nuke the sh1t out of Drimoleague, well that will be just awful. I'll never forgive myself.

Dundrum Shopping Centre makes me want to cry.

Just to defend Bray: The seafront is a lovely spot by day and night and is great during the summer festival.

Philistines! It's a lovely little town - and Collins's Centra in Drimoleague does top-notch nosebag:- great home-made bread, cakes, soups and meals.

Try some of the walks around Drim too - they're fantastic!

(I blame Paul Durcan's depressive poem "The Drimoleague Blues" for Drim's poor image.)

    I'd like to nominate Clonmel.

    Duly chastised.

Someone earlier mentioned that Dalkey wasn't a village but a suburb of Dublin. Dublin is made up of a collection of villages (including Dalkey, which is the most unfriendly place in the country), there are a few towns in Dublin too, including Dun Laoghaire.

Anyway, once Mum is happy, how can we be depressed.
