    In fairness, even inner-city north side Dublin isn't quite as much of a hell-hole as Varanasi. It's about as big a shock to the senses as can be imagined.

    I haven't been there since it's been bypassed. The worst thing about the place was the fecking traffic - it might be quite nice now. There are a couple of nice chippers there too.
