Now you know it's more complex than that so what are you angling at?

There have been more than one culture for thousands of years, so could we maybe add "all in one place" to your definition at least?

the person, wrote up a few paragraphs about something that is so all over the place i have no idea where to start.....then she attributes the question to something about multiculturalism. i thought we would start at the basics, seeing as there is nothing else worth speaking about to work with

Is that your reply to my question? I made three suggestions as to what you may think multiculturalism is, and asked you to further define it. Later I asked if my point 1. would not be your definition of multiculturalism, ie is an acceptable way for people of non-Irish descent to live in Ireland:
    1. Anyone from another country coming to live in Ireland permanently who lives an Irish way and wears western clothes, but is of a different colour, or religion, or from a non-western culture (Indian, African, Pakistani, etc.) and who can speak English fluently, and maybe can speak some Irish after going to some lessons, and actively seeks work and is a good tax-paying member of society. Still buys ingredients and meals of his or her former culture, but happy to indulge in modern Irish cuisine. Seeks out friends from the native Irish.
Or in your view no-one who is non-white and/or does not have Irish ancestry should not be allowed to live in Ireland? Anything else is "multi-culturism" which should not be allowed?
I want Irish reunification in my lifetime.

I’d have thought that grappling with porkers in a muddy pit would have had just that little bit more prestige – though such an event was probably largely indistinguishable from the conference. Oh, well - the Blubbering Bubba Support Group it is.

(I do hope NewDawn1 isn’t going to scweam “Wacist!” again. Some of my best friends are white. And I once saw that Lou Reed in concert. Doesn’t seem very “wacist” to me, frankly.)

Very amusing that you claim you are not an "ejit" when the correct spelling is Eejit, you Eejit.

They lost their way and forgot where they came from. They would sell their granny's for power as the GFA and all the snakey goings on that led to it have proven.

In fact, it isn't. The correct spelling would be "eejit", as the word "eejit" is not a proper noun.
And I might also add, Astral didn't use an incorrect spelling, he made a spelling mistake. You, however, did spell "eejit" incorrectly.
