Well I tell you, Rosisin, I was on the phone with Schrodinger's cat tonight and I daren't repeat what she said about Jesus!

But it wasn't very admiring, and it involved the word "wimp"!

I hear Jesus told her they're still talking about his trick, though, wimp or no wimp.

Your lack of being able to answer comes from your apparent lack of faith in your religion.
Because of this you are unable to affirm one way or the other, I suggest you read the bible slowly and look into Christian history, not particularly Catholic history.

Can god be categorised? What a silly question... of course it can.

    Fantasy.

Isn't it funny with all these "religious" types that the deity they claim to believe in has all the same prejudices and bigotry that they themselves have? We can only hope that mankind will eventually outgrow the need to believe in sky gods of any sort just like it outgrew the need for human sacrifice to these phantasms.

A forlorn hope, methinks. It's a big big business now globally. It gives jobs and power (absolutely ! ), creates governance and is a mechanism of social control without equal. How could we ever hope to get rid of all that ?

On a visit to the library on Saturday, I came upon the answer to the thread title question. God can indeed be categorised, under the Dewey Decimal System number 244.
