After the strong showing in this jurisdiction for British royalty-loving flick "The King's Speech", there is further surprise at the even better performance of the Thatcher biopic "The Iron Lady".
The greatest politician of the last couple of generations, why would we not be interested? It filled my heart with gladness seeing the Dublin Bus fleet bedewcked in giant sized images of Thatcher (albeit being channelled by Streep).

I heard the movie was actually not that good. Streep and Olivia Coleman are excellent but the rest is a waste of effort.
Yeah, I heard that too. I'm not particularly interested in seeing it, I'll watch it on DVD (unless Netflix brings about the demise of Xtravision within the next 6 months). I'm more interested in seeing The Artist
