Summer Solstice Freefest - Hill of Tara June 20-24

This might be our last chance to enjoy the Summer Solstice before the Tara Complex is gobbled up by greedy gombeens.

Well I used to know a place on Leason St. that had plenty of naked nubiles - not sure if they were maidens though. Seriously, though, this might be the last time human beings will stand on the Hill of Tara and watch the sun rise on the solstice, without being blasted out of it by the noise of cars doing 100 mph under flood lights.

As a sympathiser Cael, exactly how far from the actual Hill of Tara will the road be, in yards or metres, whatever?

As you know, Reggie, Teamhair is a Complex, of which the Hill is just a part. The proposed route passes right through the Complex, its estimated that it will destroy at least one national monument with every 300m. I believe the M3 would be about 1,5 km from the top of the Hill itself. A massive floodlit interchange is proposed for Bundelstown, which will be clearly visable and audable from the Hill. Of course, planning applications have gone in all down the lenght of the proposed M3 route, this so called "development" will do as much or more damage than the road itself.
