    Victims of the Celtic Tiger?

    As many people from Ireland enjoy success at Cheltenham this week, please spare a thought for the poor horses who, for no fault of their own, became victims of the greed of the Celtic Tiger.
    BBC News - Irish racehorses led to slaughter as recession bites

    WTF were the racehorse authorities thinking of when they allowed syndicates such as those mentioned in the article to own horses.

    When large chunks of money come in the door large chunks of sense go out the window.If i had a euro for every joe soap i knew who became "AN OWNER" during the madness i could happily retire,,,,most of them wouldnt know one end of a horse from the other.
