How can one despise an organisation while praising or sympathising with its members, one would have to wonder?
I know some priests, personally have no problem with them, despise the church. Figure that one out.

We have three of the best priests in our local parish. They are a bigger part of me going to mass than the all slow changing RCC and the even more negatively reactionary bishops and Irish RCC institution who seem determined to do the devil's work by continueing to defend the indefensible of the past and make extremely awkward righting at least some of the wrongs.....
