Sorry to upset or undermine the anti-catholic bshing here but the document does not equate female ordination with child abuse. The document is not a prohibition of female ordination rather its a response to illegal ordinations of females committed byt members of the church. But hey the liberals are just adopting the same moralistic black and white, good and bad view of the everthing as the catholic church did back in the 50's.

Nah not equating them. In fact if you read post #86 you will see one interpretation is actually that one is worse than the other....

Maybe they're afraid that people will realise that men in dresses and cloaks look silly if women are ordained.

Nobody except frightened old ladies give a sh1t what some medieval witchdoctor in a huge penis hat and a dress says anyway. He presided over an organisation which used ancient fairy tales to give paedophiles access to kids. If the catholic hell actually existed it would be full of priests. No little boys though, that would be real hell for their sort

Do you get my point yet? The Church has to be the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. The church needs to be consistent in the face of changing morals.

Should 'the' church still be forcing parents to bury their stillborn babies, and babies who died without baptism, outside the 'consecrated' ground, away from family, because of the stain of original sin on their souls?
Should they still be telling those parents that their babies will remain forever in 'Limbo'?

Should they still be selling indulgences? Should the wealthy and well-connected still be able to access the first-class, faster route to heaven courtesy of all the masses 'bought' for them by wealthy relatives?

Should women still need 'churching' after giving birth?

Should we all be required to abstain from meat on fridays and instead have smoked salmpon, prawns, monkfish and seabass instead as a form of penance and self-denial?

    Consistent? What a joke!!
