It's a RELATIVE decline, you dope. Do you not understand that? Can Canada's living conditions or economy have been said to have deteriorated because Ireland or Macau or Qatar overtook them in the GDP stakes? Was that because of multiculturalism? This is just an idiotic argument.
Canada's economy has grown enormously over the last forty years and continued to grow for most of the last decade. The global recession took far less of a toll there than in other places.
The difficulty for you is that you've backed yourself into a corner. Rather than admit that many, many countries have thrived for decades while being multicultural, you've chosen to stick to your original line that multiculturalism is inherently disastrous for societies.
So you find yourself now having to argue that Canada, the world's eighth largest economy and a place that consistently ranks right at the top of every chart measuring quality-of-life and human development, its cities (along with those other seething ethnic hellholes, Australia and New Zealand) the
most liveable in the world, is in fact in decline because of its multiculturalism. You are looking at a country that is CONSTANTLY ranked as one of the most stable successful liveable societies in the world and saying that it's falling apart because of multiculturalism.
Look at where your inability to concede this point has led you. You are now arguing that black is in fact white. It's just ridiculous.
I won't even mention the couple of dozen other multicultural countries, by the way, whose success you have simply no option but to ignore. If this is the extent of your argument, FutureTaoiseach, you really should just pack it in and admit when you're beaten. If, on the other hand, you've some magnificent point that explains why you believe that multiculturalism is so horrendously dangerour in the light of so much evidence to the contrary, I'd LOVE to see it.
