The term of the current Pope Benedict XVI. as archbishop of Munich and Freising one PREVIOUSLY CHARGED priest of child abuse has been used in community work. There he went in again to young people and was sentenced. The then Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger is said to have agreed to the move of the pedophile priest from Essen to Munich in 1980.

The Archbishop's professorship in Munich on Friday confirmed details of the Süddeutsche Zeitung that the priest has been used almost continuously since 1980 in the town working and still working as a priest in Bavaria is.

The spokesman for the diocese, Bernhard Kellner, spoke of "serious mistakes" that had been made in the eighties. Now all the files were examined for so-called old cases. The responsibility for the use of the priest took over the former vicar general Gerhard Gruber, 81 "The repeated use of the man in the parish ministry was a serious mistake," he told the Süddeutsche Zeitung on Friday. "I accept full responsibility. I deeply regret that it could come by this decision to the offense with young people and I apologize to everyone, which was inflicted damage."

    With knowledge of the Archbishop

Particular sensitivity of the case shall the fact that the current Pope is involved. Benedict XVI. was sitting as archbishop of Munich and Freising in Ordinariatsrat of the diocese. This Council agreed to the move of the pedophile priest to Munich, which is food for child abuse in the diocese could no longer hold. "This decision is taken by the archbishop," said the diocese.

The SZ is present the affidavit of the then eleven-year-old victim from eating, which he had forced the priest to oral sex. The perpetrator should come to therapy to Munich. He was immediately reinstated in a community. Of these, however, the then Archbishop Ratzinger is said to have known nothing.

The Vicar General has arbitrarily made the decision to use the priests in parish work, "said diocese spokesman waiter. Maybe Archbishop Ratzinger had been served on the Gruber's Instructions to the pedophile priests back to work in the community. One can not assume that Ratzinger had personally examined.

    Back on duty after conviction

1982 Ratzinger went as prefect of the Congregation of Faith in Rome. In 1986, the priest was convicted by an Upper Bavarian district court of sexual abuse of minors to 18 months imprisonment respectively. In addition, he had to pay 4,000 marks penalty. Nevertheless, he was subsequently re-employed in a municipality. The priest is still in service in Bavaria. From the Vatican had until Friday evening, an opinion given to the incident. Also the pedophilic priests declined to comment first.

On Friday, the pope greeted the president of the German Bishops Conference, Archbishop Robert Zollitsch. The Pope was upset because of the abuse cases in Germany deeply, it was said after the meeting. Benedict XVI. fully endorse the actions of Catholic bishops, and have encouraged them to educate the Vorwüfe said Zollitsch. Not discussed at the meeting were the incidents at Regensburg cathedral choir's choir, whose longtime director of the Pope's brother, Georg Ratzinger, was.

So now we know that the pope is a pedophile enabler... No other comment or piece of knowledge is needed to judge him, the pope, to be morally blind.

And how many Popes before him too.

I have to say I am not one bit surprised. The raison d'etre of the Catholic Church is power and money. To protect that power and status, cover ups of scandals are bound to happen.

    Suffer the little children indeed.

Hmmm if it was properly reported to the authorities and the priest was convicted before 1980 that wouldn't be so bad
