You've seen it - in which case you've given them your money

You illegally downloaded it - in which case you have lost the right to talk about the "legality" of the war.
I don't see how either of these bolded lines weaken the case against the film.

You mean you don't see the moral equivalence between the illegal decision to invade a country and the decision to illegally download a pirated movie? How stupid can you be?

Doesn't it all just fall into the usual workflow for US wars -

    1. They are not sure they want to be in it.
    2. They are sure they want to be in it.
    3. They get into it (war).
    4. They make films and TV programs saying how well things are going and how badly the bad guys are doing.
    5. They make films and TV programs saying how good they are and how bad the bad guys are.

    7. They make films and TV programs saying how badly things are going and how well the bad guys are doing.
    8. They make films and TV programs saying how bad they are and how good the bads guys are.
    9. They make films and TV programs about the guys who never wanted to be in it in the first place.
    10. They get out of it.
    11. They build a monument to those who died in it.
    12. They promise never to get into it again.

A new question arises......They are not sure they want to be in it.
