Is anyone here offended by this Facebook page?

I've come across a Facebook page called "My potato brings all the Irish to the yard&theyre like that famine was hard.".

with the subtext suggested by some members:

"Damn right, that famine was hard. I could feed you but I'd have to charge."

It's got near 50,000 members - the majority of whom seem to be Irish and seem to find it hilarious.

    Any thoughts, folks?

I think it's still a little early to make famine jokes.
They should have waited until three o'clock next Thursday.

You'd have to really really try hard to be genuinely offended at that.

LOL! Someone please set that to music!
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Tasty was a pretty good album, she just never followed up with anything decent.

I think we should ban the potato altogether as the symbol of so many dead.

Personally speaking I can't look at a potato without thinking of all those who died during the famine.
