We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

BA is as much a GAA man as Jose Mourinho. No real Dub supporter is also a fanatical Man U supporter. When he comes out with his true Blue Dub routine, I am praying for the interviewer to ask him what he thought of the weekend's National League fixtures. I will bet anyone on this site he would have no idea of who was playing.

The artists exemption should be scrapped. It is now totally discredited.

Tax exemption for Bertie....hmmm.....One would think that a person would first need to be tax compliant before benifitting from a tax exemption. Then again this is the Ireland of CJH spawn/inertia merchants who lie, phillander, bend and break the rules all over the place to suit individuals interests in their little cabal.

Tax exemption!? In stocks he should be....

Yeah because Bertie didn't make a career on knowing how to answer just those sort of questions and play to the common man thing at all. Honestly. Just a parody answer, it's very like when Homer mutters at Nixon "He never drank a Duff in his life".

As for the question, if other politicians books have been entitled to the exemption and he's able to produce the required paperwork then of course he should get it. If you don't like the rules, vote for people who will change the rules. Wanting to change the rules in 1 instance because a person is unpopular on Thursday is ridiculous.

I'm reminded of one of Ahern's most shameless quotes, on Matt Cooper's Last Word I think. "I have the Sky dish installed so I can watch GAA Matches". As subtle as a flying hatchet. He is promoting Sky while identifying himself as a GAA man. Most GAA people I know see right through him. And there are no GAA matches on Sky.
