Now do I believe Olivia Mitchell's estimate of his wealth, or Ahern's? Gee, that's a tough one. Can I ask the audience please Chris?
We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

Not really. Unless you want tax people to arbitrate over what constitutes art

Are you saying that some form of Arts committee decided to grant BASS AH a tax exemption correct?

Yes. They bring people in from the Arts Council and go with their recommendation.

The tax authorities should have rejected on the grounds that BASS A hasn't fixed up his tax affairs as regards to Mahon Tribunal!!

I'm afraid these matters are governed by legislation my friend. Fixing up your affairs with the mahon tribunal is not grounds to refuse you Artist Exemption in law therefore it cannot be refused on those grounds. Otherwise Bertie takes Revenue to court and wins his exemption with costs and interest

No wonder Ireland is a 'sorry' state as the Revenue's hands are so tied. What does that say for our country??

Once the tribunal reports come out, will B A tax exemption be rescinded ??
