Time for FIFA to introduce rule change as Henry goes undisciplined?

Thiery Henry today went undisciplined as FIFA claimed there are no rules under which he could be charged. There is nothing FIFA can do if a match official does not notice something in a game.

I understand the arguments for not introducing video play back during the game but surely it should come into play afterwards. Does it not for a player who seriously fouls another. Remember Keane admitting to an awful foul in his book, Henry admitted the handball so why no sanctions?

You could do it, the problem is that the rules are set up to be effective in all games. By going along the video ref route you either A: Have to ensure everyone has the same amount of cameras or B: accept that some teams will be affected more. The barcas and Utds in the world will be caught more simply because they're on TV more.

And it's wrong to put Henry's handball against Roy's assault. He was incredibly lucky not to be charged by police.

I didn't mean it as a fair comparison, what Henry did was stupid, what Keane did was downright disgusting

there is nothing they could do to Henry, if he was caught at the time the most he would of got is a yellow card. its the linesman that should be punished.
we just have to let it go, and try to top our groups to avoid play offs.
if they punished henry they would of had to punish robbie keane aswell, he handled the ball 4 or 5 times in the same match.

we should of topped our group, we had the beating of bulgaria, italy, montenegro, i hope trap learns from it.

if they were both caught on camera delibrately handling the ball and there was no doubt then why not punish them, it could act as an incentive in the future to stick to the rules if you believe you may geet caught out after the game

Because then you would have dozens of yellow cards being given out after every game. Lip readers called in the check for dissent, every little tug or push punished. All Henry would have gotten was booked. He shouldn't be punished more just because it was a big game. They did that to Eduardo a while ago and I didn't like it then.

When you look at the revolting behaviour of Keane,Zidane and Thierry does it not just show up the vain world of professional soccer as the ultimate non sport fit only for thugs cheats and bullies.
