Oh, just a pure coincidence, Eoin. Pure coincidence.

By the way, their web stats indicate a steady rise since their split with the UK branch.

"Their" web stats? It's funny how you talk about MPAC and "they", yet appear to have acceess to their web stats. Another pure coincidence, I'm sure.

Considering I only sent the letter today, Eoin, I'm sure it has had no effect yet.

They may see that as free publicity?

By the way the stats are available to anyone. Do a Google search.

This is just sloppy journalism - but dangerous as it funnels recruits to MPAC.IE- for what purpose ?

Indeed. I see that the scumbag is mentioned on the front page of todays Sunday Times in relation to some Lebanese "asylum" seeker who wants to bring in his second wife from Lebanon and how we as a nation are discriminating. What a joke that is anyway but If these hacks bothered taking one look at mpac.ie they would think twice about taking quotes from that piece of sh*t.

The problem is that in the media, he takes a moderate Islamic position, whereas on the website he is much more extreme - this is classic recruiting tactics.

As Oceanclub suggests we need to alert the news outlets to their error - I'm testing one of them now - and if not successful I'll use other channels

I've mailed mark.tighe@sunday-times.ie, the author of the piece, about using sources such as Liam Egan as representative of Irish muslims as a whole. I would suggest that anyone else concerned about good race relations in this country, should do the same.

I wouldn' really worry too much about these deluded towel heads.
I mean if we in the West were really in danger of being taken over against our will, we could always nuke Mecca or Medina [or both].

    And what would that achieve?
This is an ideological struggle - not a military one. Victory will be achieved in such things as bringing in blasphemy laws, censorship of freedom of expression, persecution of ex-Muslims/gays/jews - and tolerance of this, the rolling back of human rights in the world etc.

Also you may wish to avoid terms like "towel heads".

It is indeed an ideological struggle in Ireland and the Blasphemy law is a helpful start. But censoring freedom of expression I have a problem with that one. Non-Muslims should be allowed to challenge Muslims on their beliefs and practices, but where that freedom becomes an excuse for hate then there needs to be a cut-off point. Ex-Muslims/gays/jews or whatever group should be afforded the basic rights anyone would grant any human. However, when their seek to enforce their choices upon Muslims then there must be some means of redress.

"As an Iraqi living in Dublin I must say this is terrible news. The puppet government has not and will not work in the interests of ordinary Iraqis. The sooner the better America and her allies leave so we can begin to sort out the mess the west has put us in"

A post of yours from before xmas. You are beyond pathetic. What part of Iraq are you supposedly from Egan? Did you take a break from the forum so that this might be forgotten-until you realised that they arent accepting new users on P.ie now and you still have to use "muzzylogic"?
