Oh, well, I leave it up to others to decide what this think by the phrase "defence force".
Are you denying that he wrote such books as "44 Ways to Support Jihad", which contains the line "The hatred of kuffar [non-Muslims] is a central element of our military creed"?Al Awlaki hasn't been convicted of any of those allegations, and the Irish are should be the last people to point fingers with regard to allegations.

Actually, it's not a book but a transcript of a lecture. Few Muslims would disagree with the content in general but there does need to be a discussion among the community on Jihad and its meaning in the 21st century (I'm not calling for abandonment as Jihad will be with the Muslims until the last day). There's little disagreement on the right of defence in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Yemen, etc.
Stop nitpicking; it's beneath you. MPAC has posted an article about a "defence force" containing a video from a man who claims "The hatred of kuffar is a central element of our military creed. We need to realize that Allah will not grant us victory as long as we still have some love towards his enemies in our hearts." As such, the video is an incitement to hatred and contains a man who makes specific reference to military action.

Fair play to FriarMo for clear answers and for distancing moderate Muslims from the extremist Wahabbi rhetoric. I would be concerned about extremism growing here as in Britain but am glad to hear of Muslims here taking steps to distance themselves from it.
One of the contributors said he had never met an Irish Muslim. I assure him I've met several, I have a cousin who is a Muslim.
MPAC seem to be complete headbangers.
You deduce it's an incitement to hatred because he calls Muslims to defend their lands. Wouldn't that make the actions of the Americans and their supporters 'acts of hatred'?
Do you think you should show love for someone who has just killed members of your family? Less of the hypocrisy, please.
