    What the hell was that?

hmmmm we just scored. 2-1 So what. He has to go...
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Agree it wasn't a great game but the points in the bag are what counts and we came away with a win.

    San Marino wuz robbed.
Keane was well offside for that goal. 1-1 would have been a fair result.

I haven't seen them play in a while (often work Wednesday evenings), so I hadn't seen the recent matches. Good ************************, we're ************************e. Absolutely no apparent tactics, just kicking it around like they're in the park.
Staunton should be shot. Or made run for the PDs in Donegal South West.

Ah come on now. Factual. Seriously. That was a pub team we were up against. Most of them literally couldn't kick a ball straight. What was most annoying was that we spent most of the game knocking short passes around, turning and giving the ball to the full-backs, going square across the middle, etc. It was only in the last 5 minutes, when things were desperate, that we did what we should've done against a team like that. Pummel the f*ckers. Bombard the penalty area. In other words, when up against a sh*t team, play the Charlton way - bombard them at pace, and show up their weaknesses. And when we did that, we saw the whites of their keeper's eyes more often in those last five minutes than in the entire rest of the match.
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.
