Your right Nemindan there is an anti Cobh bias, though i would put it down to more neglect than bias.
Youghal is hit badly -but if you were to visit there any day -it still has far more business opened on its main street than Cobh.
As for Queen Vic coming- I hope you'll be out in your best suit for her Dohville -ha
What about the Titanic commemoration yesterday. It was the biggest one I've seen yet. I can remember attending the first ones some years ago when about 20 people would show up at them.
Good omens for the centenary next year -where Cobh could do very well from this, and with no royal buffoonery required.
With the big visible clean up going on over the last number of months by our tidy towns volunteers, and the fantastic change in look of the town, anyone care to hazard a guess at how many points Cobh will rise in this years ratings?
I think we were placed somewhere in the mid 30's last time.
I would expect to be somewhere between 15th and 20th this time. Am i over ambitious?
