FF's illegal use of Cork Arms in Cork NW

I was in Churchfield earlier this evening and noticed that both Tony Fitzgerald and Dr. Sheehan have the official Cork City Coat of Arms emblazoned in both upper corners of their respective election posters. This is a breach of the city's copyright unless of course the City Council has given them permission to use the arms.

According to the City Council Website (http://www.corkcity.ie/disclaimerandcopyright/):-

Cork Coat of Arms / Crest / Logo Notice

Any downloading, copying, use or reuse of Cork City Council's Coat of Arms, Crest or Logo, shall be unauthorised unless downloaded, copied, used or reused in accordance with the prior written permission of Cork City Council (to which conditions may attach). The purpose of this restriction is to protect the Coat of Arms, the City Council and the City and its people from an inappropriate use of the Coat of Arms/Crest/Logo or from any use which might reflect badly on the City, its citizens or its City Council. Application for such permission should be made prior to downloading, copying, use or reuse to the Director of Corporate Affairs at [COLOR=#0000ff]corporateaffairs@corkcity.ie[/COLOR]. Generally there will be no charge or cost implications attaching to the permission.

Not surprised at Fianna Fail doing anything, for f... sake dont say any more about Dr. John Sheehan, hes in enough stew at the moment. Heard Jim Cronin , another Ind, close pal of Mick Barry has posters up tonight in North Central. A fair share of spacers here now.

This must be a mistake on behalf of the contenders in the Cork SW constituency- Fianna Fail does not condone illegal elecioneering practices. But thank you for bringing this up.
