    Torn down Referendum signs.

As I'm sure everybody else was, I was taken aback two weeks ago when the "Yes" to Lisbon campaign commenced.
Litterally over night Vote "Yes" signs were covering sign posts in their twos.
However within the last week I've been noticing at first Graffitti covering the signs, but this was at a minimum so I did not take much notice.
Soon afterwards I began to notice more and more pulled down(don't get me wrong here, I just have a daily route).
3 days ago the road on South Terrace was covered in torn down signs, and of course I'm wondering who the culrpits are?
I'd be inclined to point the finger at the Socialists as they haven't the best track record of respecting Freedom of Speech(i.e David Irving's visit), however I'd fear it could just be the just a group of people of lads acting independentally of any party.

But in all fairness lads, am I the only person who's noticed this?
Does anybody actually know who the culprits are?

You give your location as "Co. na Chorcaí ".

Why don't you put it in correct Irish? It's as easy to be right as to be wrong.

In all fairness, it is probably kids and teens. The Yes people have swamped my area in Yes posters whilst the No camp have very very few posters (might have seen one or two compared to over a hundred yes) so I say they get pi**ed off when every poster is saying vote yes and naturally take it out on them!

To suggest it is some conspiracy is probably stretching it!
Food tastes better when you put it all together! It's the one best mayonnaise!

Actually it's correct Irish thank you very much.

Now secondly that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I never suggested it was a conspiracy, it's just I know the fact that the Socialist Workers Party does have a tendency to tear down signs they disagree with.

    Sorry, it isn't.

Why it isn't correct I do not know, as "Co. na Gaillimhe" is correct.

But what you have is wrong. Why not change it instead of trying to defend a mistake?

Though on second thoughts most of this site is made up of people defending erroneous opinions!

Well going on my years of primary and secondary level education through Irish I would be correct, it may be dialectic, but who knows, maybe the gaeilgeors that taught me could be incorrect.

However may we please go back on topic.
