Irish Move Into Empty Offices Escalates Bust Legacy Battle - Bloomberg
The bank does not take ownership. It takes possession.
The house is sold on your behalf, and the money used to discharge the bank debt, for your benefit.
Thats the theory anyway.
In relation to this property, does anyone know if the borrower has defaulted on repayment on the loan?
Ye are splitting hairs......a building owned by the wealthy...taken by a agency of a corrupt and broken system......A prime target for occupation!
And if it wasn't occupied....it would be sold off cheaply to some other rich person to use to make him/herself even more rich....and put a few scraps into the "taxpayers" coffers...to then be promptly wasted by the government.
What is happening is the best of all options....Occupy it, make it for the people of this country....make it a beacon to show new ways forward. Bring the common man together to take control back from the hands of a few elite. For the Irish People, that is the most profitable use of NAMA property!!
