Visiting Cork? Hope you have your Cork Passport bai!

Cork city cll is considering introducing a 'Cork Passport' to act as a 'certificate of Corkness'. The document, which will be available to the Cork diaspora worldwide, has strict criteria! You must be born in Cork or have your parents married there. The move is hoped to bring in some much needed revenue and also showcase Cork around the world.

The Real Capital hopes this will be passed in the coming weeks.

Well, it involves less mental expenditure than actively promoting native culture in Cork that the county could be proud of. I didn't realise that Cork councillors were as intellectually lazy and money-grabbing as the rest of the country. Fancy that.

The langer accent should be 'passport' enough. It's like tinkers speaking french like, as tommy tiernan once said. Couldn't agree more

I think they had a few decent writers. And the Frank and Walters weren't bad.
