But you don't know from what base. If they'd one search for Kildare last year, and 3 this year you can present that as a 200% increase. Incidently, any time you are give percentages rather than absolute quantities in this kind of article you can be 100% confident that you are being led astray. (See what I did there?)

No. I haven't seen that and I don't believe it. Such a major upsurge in bookings would be news well beyond the Examiner and Enda would be shouting it from the rooftops. Neither can I find such a story on the Examiner's website. Maybe you'd give me reference for it.

I think it would be helpful, if Anglo Celt is still following the thread, if he could confirm that the article I linked, which stated the increase to be searches on a website and not bookings, is the one he recalls.
