Mail on Sunday are conducting a 500 sample poll today and tomorrow in Galway West. Should make interesting reading when published next Sunday. I may have results on Thursday.

Oh my God, I'm so excited!
No really, I am. This one will have actual numbers and not be done by a party.
The addiction to opinion polls on this site is absolutely shocking.Originally Posted by AndrewM
Be fascinating to see the numbers for Fahy, Crowe, Grealish and O'Brolchain alright! And to see if Catherine The Mad is getting any support.
I guess O'Cuiv and Mickey D can be considered completely safe, and there's almost certainly a FG seat, most likely Walsh. Where the last 2 seats look like going will be very interesting though....

I know, I'm getting away from the national polls finally. But still, one done in my constituency, I'm allowed have my kicks..........................Originally Posted by cain1798
Data over anecdote is a huge improvement on the "it's all going our way" type of commentary we've been having on this site.
As for a prediction: I suspect Crowe hasn't had enough time to establish himself as a candidate and will be quite low. Walsh will be comfortable and O Brolchain will be challenging Grealish for the last seat. Fahy will be down but OK, with O Cuiv in on the first count and Michael D not far off on the 1st count. Connolly on 5%, with her transfers key for O Brochain.
Crowe may be stronger than we think. Spoke to some FF people in Claregalway over the weekend and they were talking up his chances (very unhappy with Fahy). I'm expecting Healy Eames to do well given her media profile and City "drop". Don't be surprised if she is the strongest FG candidate. Is Michael D that strong ? My prediction is.
1. O'Cuiv
2. Healy Eames or Walsh
3. Fahy
Last 2 seats between, O'Brolacain, Higgins & Grealish with any combination possible (real chance of 2 left seats).
I would hope to see a revival in PD fortunes in this constituency following the change of management in the PDs, unless the party gets dragged down with FF.

Is Galway West going to be the only constituency covered in the Mail on Sunday? They had 2 last time so I'm wonderin'.
