Theres hardly a need for a full time UK forum. It suffices to have a temporary one before elections, or other political events of major interest at any particular time.

Voted yes. For all the reasons already stated.
Plus, of all times to be looking at UK politics, the next year or so are going to be particularly interesting, so I would think there'll be interest on the site.

Voted yes,G.B. is our closest neighbour and a large amount of our trade goes there. What happens in their politics directly affects us, much more than what happens in the rest of our European trading partners.

    I voted yes.

Whatever we might like to think, Britain is not 'just another European country' as far as Ireland is concerend.

As the others have said, the decisions taken in UK politics greatly influences our social and economic environment, not to mention trade links and being our closest ally at EU level. I'd certainly imagine that a dedicated forum would be even more active than the US Politics one, given the number of threads set up for this election.

    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.64
