    25% = Irish means that 75% =/= Irish. That's reality.

    75% of people in Northern Ireland don't regard themselves as Irish. Why should we take them in any more than Nigerians. Honestly, even the Nigerians are less parasitic and criminal.

    Identity is odd. I'm a (Welsh) Nationalist - but I'm unsure if my primary identity is Welsh, or North Welsh. There are cultural differences between the North & the South.

    But obviously if I decide that my primary identity is North Welsh, I'm not denying my Welshness.

    The issue is that around half of the Irish there want to be part of the UK. They are also as Irish as the people of Munster, they are from Ireland, thats how it works bud.

    Given that the political status of Northern Ireland is not an issue for electoral politics why are you claiming that it is relevant.

    Do you honestly think that 40% of the electorate in Northern Ireland would vote to become part of the Republic?
