Theresa May Will Trigger Article 50 on March 29

Article 50: Theresa May to trigger Brexit process next Wednesday - BBC News

Is there no turning back now? Do the Brexiteers have any real plan for what they want to do next?

I interviewed Peter Lilley to ask what their plans were... judge for yourself.

Here's How 53 - Conservative Peter Lilley MP on Brexit

And now the new multi-annual Euro crisis begins...Everyone will have a bad time, but the Brexicants will suffer most of all. We should prepare refugee camps on the Irish sea coast and double up on naval and coast guard units to fish the Brexicants out of the sea. If tacky right wing populism rises, be ready for FF to suggest building a wall from Derry to Wexford

FG and Labour naturally will say that the wall doesn't go far or high enough and that FF's wall is too little.

Well, I for one am glad to see this particular train leave the station. Only another two years of listening to the that God-awful word being bandied about on TV and radio and plastered across newspaper headines. Brexit is, and has been, as big a con job as I've seen perpetrated on a population for many years, the only exception being Trump for President.

Those who voted to leave the EU have been sold a mirage in the desert. The overwhelming majority of immigrants in the UK are from former British colonies, are largely Muslim and will still be there after the country leaves the EU. Despite all the griping about refugees from sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East it's the ghettoisation of Britain's towns and cities by Asian Muslims that causes the most angst. Most of the more recent immigration from Eastern Europe comprises white Christians whose sense of identity is specifically European and closer to native Britons' values than those of the country's former colonies.

The penny has yet to drop with many Britons that exiting the world's most prosperous trading bloc might not be so smart. Too many still have a colonial mentality and see Britain as a world power on a par with the US and China. They constantly remind us that they have the wirld's fifth largest economy, neglecting to mention that it's no. 5 as an EU member, not as an outsider. That ranking is sure to move south post-Brexit and wistful notions of establishing a Singapore-like, low-tax, low-regulation island state are testament to how poorly thought-out going it alone has been. They're currently checking to see if they have a parachute on their backs having leapt from the plane.

Some of their criticism of EU institutions s justified, but then you see their Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, holding down five jobs (including editorship of the Evening Standard and as a consultant to the Blackstone Group) and you have to laugh at the irony.

Farage will have long since crawled back under the rock he came from when the reality starts to bite.

It's the end of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (and as the europhiles think the solution is more Europe, it will probably result in the break up of the EU as we know it).
