Or just nominate a team from the parties and let them off with it while an election goes on. maybe give them a senate seat if they lose their seats or something. Basically install them for the duration so they can concentrate on the job.

Yeah, and it absolutely sticks in my craw to say this, but Bertie Ahern is available.

You might as well have the management of the Felon's so .

What the last week shows is that Irish politics is now a playground for narcissistic dullards that never had a real job in their puff .

Can you show me any current member of the government and opposition who have EVER had a serious job and achieved in the real world ?

It certainly is starting to appear that way.

I think Varadkar is in the last chance saloon here. The next mistake he makes and he will be gone.

True. But he did try to hammer the scam through. Howlin should be removed quickly as he's a liablility for Labour going into a GE. Kelly might be a bit of a gobshíte but he could bring the Labour % back up whereas Howlin is more likely to kill Labour completely.

His decision , as one of his first acts , to co-ordinate a media campaign to normalise homelessness marks Leo out as a particularly nasty scumbag in my opinion.I wont forgive him for that and makes him even more detestable than Kenny (some achievement) IMO

I think that Vardkar's exit is already being planned. This fiasco has seriously destroyed the myth of competence that the media has been pushing for years. Even worse, it has made the journalists who had pushed this myth look stupid. The tone of future coverage from these people may change.
