Yet you are not consistent in the application of that standard. You have already set Yates apart from the "snouters" who surround him. But Yates has enriched himself at the expense of the taxpayer, just as they have

We all serve somebody, as Dylan said. All work, public or private, is an honour and a privilege, but there is always the danger that allocating positions of power with no remuneration will attract only the seriously wealthy or the deluded nut jobs on some messianic mission.....

I agree it looks a bit odd, maybe if they add a 3rd or 4th person it wouldn't look so How about breakfast and during the day sh1te chat tv, often it is a woman and man so why is that not also odd, oh yes gender quotas

I said that he distinguished himself from the snouters on either side of him when I saw him first campaign.

Term limits can be quite an effective defence against that kind of thing.

I think the idea was that they would spark off each other. On the first night in the opening moments they seemed to be obeying that script, with Yates contradicting his co-host patting him on the arm and murmuring "calm down, for God's sake" etc....

But it was too false to be sustained and soon they lapsed back into their individual roles, with no pretence that there was some chemistry between them. The whole show looks like a performance---a willed act, a desperate piece of show biz, of theatre...

Vinnie was too much the opposite---too authentic, too stumbling, too unrehearsed.....

But this show's attempt at slickness and paciness is not quite coming off. There is a kind of falseness, a trying too hard....

Yeah def-that can work on radio if chemistry is right but it clearly isn't here.Visually, both are being exposed as two big phonies frantically trying to conceal the reality that each is trying to outdo the other.Yates is sad trying to be funny while Cooper's limitations beyond anything other than a workmanlike hack badly exposed. It's like Morecambe and Wise without the funny bits.Who in the jayzuzzzzz thought it was a good idea putting those two in as a double act.One or none is the only way to go with those two

If Burgess is on then it has to be about David Halls latest grand scheme funded by the largesse of the Iris taxpayer
