    Interesting.

The EU does not vote in an Irish General Election - not yet, anyway.
Coveney is doing his best to lose votes for Fine Gael perhaps he really wants to join Fianna Fail after all, his level of sleaze is nearly at the same level. When FG see the next poll as they head south watch them shut up about their triple tax for water.!

Whoever wrote the bull$hit script for FG and supposed EU fines still uses crayons for writing, then again a real child would do better , they should sack the spotty faced snot of a young Fine Gaeler who writes that bull$hit script for gross stupidity!

"I welcome the witnesses and thank them for their presentations. The information that they have supplied has been interesting. Welsh Water and Scottish Water have confirmed how foolish Ireland has been in wasting €500 million in installing domestic water meters in recent years. Many of us have been calling for the prioritisation of district metering to identify leaks and deal with wasteful usage for quite some time."

How uncomfortable O'Sullivan from the Green party looked during the show.

She kept very quiet about the fact that it was the Green party who insisted on introducing water charges back in 2009.

While saying the priority of the Green party is to hold a referendum, she conveniently forgot that the current leader of her party, Ryan, was the very person who opposed Gormley's suggestion to hold a referendum on the issue!

I don't know how accurate this is but there is a rumour going around that a presenter on Highland radio called Shaun Doherty could be joining TV 3 and might head up a current affairs programme. Just a rumour though.
