    Kipling put it very well:

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is hard business. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”

Atheists of course will claim they they're exercising their individuality.

Or are they merely going with the flow?
    Not this nonsense again...

Atheists simply don't believe in the existence of any god or gods. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less, no matter how many fake windmills your imagination creates for you to have a tilt at.

About Halawa now, leader of the cycling Tailban, "he is a bright, brave young man", school teacher and head and pupils all spouting the family propaganda. Not one word of dissent, in other words the truth, from anyone.

Thank God I turned off when she started a segment of food supplements...finger on the pulse there Claire.

Has she mentioned the Amarach poll again? I'll be surprised if she did, not the right result atall atall.

No, a person can only be disbelieving, or an atheist, when they have developed views about the existence of God.

You can't do that as a baby, because you know nothing about God, and have no views on anything.

We are not animals, and we are all born with an inbuilt desire to seek answers and guidance.

Stephen Donnelly is a great man for spouting statistics but glad to see he's getting a good roasting from Donaldson of the DUP. Takes a northern unionist sometimes to cut through the crap and talk plainly.

you must have been listening to a different program.
    Donnelly quoted some statistical facts.
    Donaldson didn't like them
    he didn't dispute them.
he blew a fuse & lost the plot.

I'll have to listen back to recall exactly what he said, but it was something like NI will be a basket case after Brexit. It sounded awful and not the right tone for that kind of discussion. Not least because scoring points that NI is going to be affected by Brexit worse than we are, is probably not even true.

Hopefully, the permanent govt will pay attention to the impact of Brexit on the rest of the country while the politicians squabble over real or imaginary border posts.
