#VINB Thur 18/10/2012: Was the EU June bank deal oversold?

Pascal Donohoe, FG TD Dublin Central Paschal Donohoe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Declan Ganley, Businessman, Political activist Declan Ganley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brigid Laffan, Professor Human Sciences UCD UCD President's Office: Professor Brigid Laffan

A humdinger of a show is lined up for us tonight. I’m beginning to feel sorry for poor Pascal who is pitched against Declan Ganley. It’ll be like watching the Christians in the Coliseum. And the ambulance waiting outside the Ballymount studios waiting for Pascal. Will there be any of him left? Please Vinny, put Brid Laffin between the two gladiators to separate them.

Were we sold a pup last June whan Enda came back Chamberlain-style to claim that he had pulled the rabbit out of the hat? All lies, lies, lies, I hear you cry. It was never going to happen! So how is our Taoiseach doing at this EU Summit? Have his hopes of a bank deal been dashed, and were we oversold the deal following the June Summit?

So, sit back, and enjoy the #VINB show … and hopefully, we’ll get to hear some truth being spoken.

    Great op norm.

Vinny playing with paschal like a cat with a mouse is exactly what I need after a long week.

Wouldn't mind seeing Thomas Byrne being shouted at either but paschal will suffice.

As much as Vincent can exhaust topics, with news coming through now from the summit
about a new debt deal on the table for Greece, we need to discuss our prospects.
