Children - the most vulnerable members of society. So how does the State protect our children? The upcoming, predicted now for late autumn, but often delayed, Referendum on Children’s Rights should go some way to address the lack in children’s protection but is it the panacea? Is the Government sleep walking into another failed referendum with the Children's Rights Referendum?
On #vinb tonight Dearbhail asks:
* will the referendum punish second class parenting
* reform the lives of vulnerable children
* or will it turn into a lawyerfest?
For those interested in this topic a good show is on the cards. Dearbhail has highlighted the gap in child protection measures in many of her articles. It is a subject which she remains committed to, so it should be an interesting and good show …

Oh! I nearly forgot. To those who have been predicting the imminent demise of the #vinb show on this site I‘ve news for you. It’s alive and well and is prominent in tv3’s autumn schedules. So there … you might even see Enda appearing yet, that is if God doesn‘t get there first.![]()
