You see the big difference Partizan, and this fundamental to the attempts by many of us debating this issue on here for the past six months, is that no one is trying to justify the expulsion of the Serbs from Roma.

You try to deny/excuse/contextualise/deny the war crimes of Serbs in the Balkans.

I am not trying to in your own words to "deny/excuse/contextualise/deny the war crimes of Serbs in the Balkans". Far from it. I have been documented many a time here condemning the crimes carried out by the Yugoslav/Serb forces. The problem is, Serbs/Yugoslavs suffered too and their suffering has been either downplayed or largely ignored by the West as it doesnt fit in with the general narrative of the Balkan Wars, i.e. Serbs bad, everyone else good. It is through this prism (along with the continued demonisation of the Serbs) and the refusal to acknowledge or condemn the crimes committed by their own respective sides, whether it be Bosnian, Croat, Albanian, NATO against the other that precludes true reconciliation in the Balkans for only then will the respective finally move on. Highlighting the atrocities committed by the KLA or the Bosnian side is not trying to "deny/excuse/contextualise/deny the war crimes of Serbs in the Balkans". It is simply drawing attention to the fact that it was not black & white that we were all led to believe but like all ethno-religious conflicts, a lot of grey in between.

Finally in relation to Kosovo where a winner takes all scenario is not going to bring about peace and stability in the long run, if anything it wont.

The Croats committed far more atrocities than any of the nationalities involved.

In 1941-44,yes. But not in the 90s. Then the crown of atrocity passed to the Serbs.
