| Why do IRA supporters, or to use a trendy word, apologists, chunter on about other peoples bombs. I thought that the no warning bomb was weapon of choice for them ? Are there good bombs and bad bombs? Bollocks!! |

| Bollocks indeed, bollocks that you would be talking about IRA bombs in a thread concerning Afghanistan. I don't believe that any of the groups styling themselves 'IRA' are involved in that theatre of conflict. |

I presume you could not address the rest of the post as you are lost for words and you can not justify your position.

| you seem to be a treasure trove of mis-information if one thing is clear it is that the IRA always gave telephone warnings, wether the british acted on them or not is quite a different matter also known as black propaganda.

| Rule no. 1 of statecraft: If at all possible, do not become involved in foreign wars. Rule no. 2 of statecraft: If you must get involved in a foreign war, then let it be anywhere but Afghanistan. Not for the first time, the Brits will leave Afghanistan with their tails between their legs. And not for the first time, a people will say: "Good riddance!" |

| *sigh* don't why I bother but I suppose I hope some ray of light will enter the dark dank cesspool of hateful convulsion that passes in your thick skull for a mind. Quote:

1. On Clinton's watch the Taliban came to power. 2. OBL took up with them. 3. The Sauids negotiated with the Taliban to hand over OBL in return for international recognition which the Taliban craved. 4. The Taliban agreed and were prepared to hand him over 5. The US embassy in Nairobi was bombed as was the USS Cole in Yemen. 6. In retaliation Clinton ordered rocket attacks on Sudan and Afghanistan 7. The Taliban were furious and cancelled the deal with the Saudis thinking the Saudis had hoodwinked them Are you following all this.......good....fast forwrad to 9/11 8. GWB goes to the UN and asks for sanction for an invasion of Afghanistan after the Taliban refused to hand over OBL 9. The Taliban admitted....note you...admitted he was there but refused to hand him over saying there was no proof he was responsible for 9//11 10. When the bombing began they offered to hand him over but Bush refused the offer. 11. The Northern Alliance backed by the US and UK drove the Taliban from Kabul 12. A video shwoing OBL admitting responsibility for 9/11 was susequently found and released. So your folowing statement is BS Quote:
