| US neocons who have been pushing for strong action against Iran are hoping Ahmedinejad will defeat his reformist opponent in the forthcoming elections in Iran. Prominent neocon Daniel Pipes has openly said he hopes Ahmedinejad will win. This would make it easier to justify war against Iran because of Ahmedinejad's "outlandish statements" LobeLog.com Blog Archive Neocons for Ahmadinejad The neocon agenda is once more to force America into an unnecessary war. |

It also has a huge Army right on the borders of a US Ally + NO OIL! ![]() + it will implode one day for sure - that will be a Crises situation but should be manageable. Its stance is basically Defensive while Iran's is one of Expansionism and establishing itself as Major Player in the ME Iran is also a tough nut but if it came to a War then its a better option.
