Default britain - "HIV King of Europe"

Quote:
Britain has almost twice as many new HIV cases diagnosed in a year as any other west European country, new figures show.

..7,734 new cases of the virus recorded in 2007 [in britain], nearly double the figure reported at the turn of the millennium, according to Unicef. The worst-affected groups were gay men and immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa, the charity added.

..More than a quarter are unaware they are carrying the virus..

second highest figure for new infections was in France, with 4,075. Germany, which has 10million more people than Britain, was third with 2,752 new cases, Unicef said.

In 2007 young people aged between 16 and 24 accounted for about half of all the 400,000 new cases of sexually transmitted diseases in Britain. One in ten of new HIV diagnoses was among young people.

More than four in ten of the 7,734 new HIV infections were acquired through sex between men - and this proportion is continuing to rise.
Ms Tiessen said Britain might be at a higher risk because of its 'sizeable' immigrant population from sub- Saharan Africa - which has more than two-thirds of all global cases

Where is sub-Saharan Africa?

I wasn't having a go at Myers, I am fascinated by Myers capacity to be outraged thats all.

Islam isn't anything i'm particularly worried about, immigration is. Immigration affects me and mine directly and when I see data on the effects of immigration (usually massively under reported) I will be posting it so others can be informed.

How is it racist to state FACTS regarding African immigrants link to the rise in HIV cases in Britain?

Good old lefties, when you cant win your argument or you don't like the truth, pull out the 'Your Racist' card.
