| Wait didn't diet FF euro candidate Sean Kelly have something similar to say a few months back, not quite that Tesco should leave Ireland, but definitely outlining a negative impact?

| Kelly was talking about out of town superstores and not Tesco in isolation and I'd agree with him. Whether it is Dunnes or Superquinn or whoever the out of town developments hurt communities.

| if Tescos left the south, that would only encourage the other brands put their prices up. So its a no-win situation for the consumer. but there will always be northern ireland to shop it, a consumers market. |
