Shay should be a dead cert to get on the ticket, he'll have a decent chance of taking back the seat this time on a level playing field with no celebrities.

I suppose it matters to the people in Dublin South. Not necessarily Ireland. People who dont pay taxes get to vote too.

It doesnt matter. FG were always going to take the last seat with a fight against Alex White. O Leary and White would have to be favourites for this.

However, FG have just given FF something much better then a seat in Dail Eireann, and that is a rather large and pointy stick to beat Enda with.

Maria Corrigan should be the Fianna Fáil candidate. She would have been the candidate last year had people not interfered with the convention. Cumainn being allowed delegates even though they werent registered.

Maria is a fantastic local politician but who has the experience and capabilities to be a fantastic TD. She is doing great work in Seanad Éireann in particular on her disability and mental health brief.

It has to be Donie, he is a super intellect, judging by the €200k he got for doing very little up at the airport. The country needs him to help turn the nations finances around.
