| Ok 1st of this isnt anything new The idea of a common EU defence and army have been around since the 1950's It was proposed by the French and later vetoed by them Second most EU states are in Nato for better or worse and therefore military alliances arent a big deal. The only problem that arises there are the ataltaists vrs the Europeanists In relation to Ireland We voted under Maastricht for a common EU defence Also Willie O Dea said we have been granted neutrality under Lisbon Yes we have, that doesnt mean we cant change are mind Also if you actually read the article (or post parts of it that maybe dont suit your agenda) The article said "Under EU rules, member states with certain military capacities and the political will to move in this direction can club together to move forward on common defence." What ever about political will we have NO military capacities and would be of fat all use to a EU army Also note it uses the word CAN and doesnt say "will be forced to"

| It still depresses me when I think that people fell for that Lisbon treaty because of economic scaremongering . Europe got off to a good start, a force for good. Now its just turning into the United States or Europe. Power corrupts. The British and Americans are sending in lots of kids to get slaughtered by the Taliban today, because they dont want the Taliban to have power in Afghanistan. They want the repessive corrupt extremist Afghan government instead, who have legalised rape against women and have been accused of being worse than the Taliban. This is the kind of stupid things military powers do when theyre looking to pick a fight, dont let Ireland be used as fodder for the elite and their war games. If nations dont stand against war then we will all end up fighting eachother for whatever reason some drunken fat cigar smoking arshole conjures up. |

| The EU is just another way for the Germans to realise their ambition of conquering Europe! Just as the Daily Mail has told me for years!!!!!! |
