2010?

You'll have to explain that concept to Al.

Looks like someone's not a student of history. The combine of German industry and the German general staff was responsible for what...? twice in a row? (And if you're going to cite "practices of BAA in the area of defence contracting", please be specific and unbiased.)

Maybe a reminder of the goals listed in the joint statement by Churchill and FDR at the Yalta conference ought to snap people's brains into realising where this is actually going. All the goals therein stated have been 100 percent undone. There's even an agreement between Germany and Russia in place that greatly resembles the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. (And even worse, Ireland is a province of this new empire.) If the next step doesn't occur, it'll be miraculous; but things are too predictable now to discount the inevitable conclusion.

It is our inflexible purpose to destroy German militarism and Nazism and to ensure that Germany will never again be able to disturb the peace of the world. We are determined to disarm and disband all German armed forces; break up for all time the German General Staff that has repeatedly contrived the resurgence of German militarism; remove or destroy all German military equipment; eliminate or control all German industry that could be used for military production; bring all war criminals to just and swift punishment and exact reparation in kind for the destruction wrought by the Germans; wipe out the Nazi Party, Nazi laws, organisations and institutions, remove all Nazi and militarist influences from public office and from the cultural and economic life of the German people; and take in harmony such other measures in Germany as may be necessary to the future peace and safety of the world. It is not our purpose to destroy the people of Germany, but only when Nazism and militarism have been extirpated will there be hope for a decent life for Germans, and a place for them in the comity of Nations.

I didn't realise we were discussing History. I thought we were talking about a business merger.

AI has the same problem telling the difference between history and busines mergers as he has in differentiating between reality and fantasy. His anti-German phobia is becoming pathological at this stage.

Business mergers don't occur outside the context of history, as the text of the article clearly indicates. Was George Santayana engaged in manic raving during the time he said "(t)hose that cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"?

Next time, pick a better way to evade the gist of the article, never mind evading what is happening before your eyes.

Still trying to work around reality yourself, I see. You cannot evade real-time events or their context on the world stage, especially when matched up with the entire continuum of the actions of Germany's government. Also, you fail to demonstrate how Germany returning to this phase is good for anyone, especially Germany and its people, never mind continue to obscure the difference between Germany and its government. Will you ever be an honest broker?

What a good idea. For the German economy, at least. It makes sense to merge these companies. As a larger entity, they will be batter able to compete against other companies.

Considering the historical context, AI, don't you think we should be more worried about the number of horses in Mongolia?

MarketWatch

The former head of German military inteligence has revealed that Germany is not really a sovereign country

Under a secret agreement in 1949 between the prostrate Germans and the US all german political parties are controlled by the US as is the German military. Also the German gold reserves are held in the US.(Max Keiser has also referred to the German gold being held in the US).

The Germans had to agree or the state of West Germany would not have been allowed into existence

Naturally Gerd Helmut Komossa came under heavy criticism and the MSM in Germany prefer not to discuss the issues. The main bookstore chain refuses to stock the book.

Your anti-German pathology relies on conflating a democratic Germany with the Nazis and extending this xenophobic fantasy onto the European Union. Your pathology was exposed the moment you took this little fantasy out for a walk on p.ie. Everything you have written since then is predicated on this English-nationalist disease of collapsing history from Bismark to Hitler to Merkel into one Prussian/Nazi-inspired programme. You have become a parody of yourself in the meantime ... although the exposure of your pathology does explain the rather bizarre conspiracy-theory attacks you made on the EU during the Lisbon Treaty debates and, as such, serves some purpose on these boards.
